Absolutely. We are always worried about giving a good first impression or just being on our best behavior. I have a friend that doesn't care and she has the most friends of anyone I've ever met.
She said the other day that everyone has a deep dirty secret, you just have to figure it out before they do and then you are good to go and have fun, turn yourself inside out being yourself. I think she's right.
So, the next time you are in a group that they seem better than you remember they too have something wrong and look and you shall find...then you become on the same level...funny how our minds make us crazy.

I don't. People will judge you regardless of what you do or say. It only matters if you can get up in the morning and look at your self in the mirror

of course. We are always a little paranoid of being rejected.

On the other hand, how can we really grow without being true to ourselves? If you should fear anything, it should be the regret over not trying.

Other regrets will fade away, if your heart is true.

Nope, never. I only know how to be the real and geniune me. And if others have a problem with that....then that is THEIR problem, not mine.

There is an old song: I gotta be meeeee! What else can I be, but what I am!

well, im not scared to show my true self. i dont really care what others think of me, and if they judge me, who cares? its my life im living, not theirs, and they cant stop me from living it. i've bn judged my entire life, mainly with the way i look, but i keep positive and being able to be myself has brought out both the best and the worst in me, otherwise i would feel shut down and it would appear to others that im shy, which i dont want. and i've received positive feedback about myself, my aunt even saying for me never to change who i am - a nice, smart, intelligent, caring, honest, loving person - or so she said, on more than one occasion. i didnt really need to hear that because i was never gonna change for any1. you just have to live your life the way you want to and dont let any1 get in your way. my younger sister has kinda threatened me because when i listen to music, either on the computer or on my mp3 player. my dad has told me that i cant sing too when im singing to the music on the computer. i love to sing along to the music. their comments has never stopped me from singing when listening to music as i dont really care what she thinks about it, as long as it's something i want to do. i've even sung in a train while listening to my best friend's music, with passengers staring over at me and my best friend, but i didnt care and sung anyway. its the way that i am when it comes to music, and im never gonna change that about myself because of that. im a risk taker, so i like to take chances in life too. the only time i was afraid to show my true self was when i was in primary school and i was being bullied by people around me. i did tell a best friend, but as soon as we told the principal nothing was being done about it. i thought all i could do was cry. being through that has only made me stronger and made me show my true self everywhere i go.

Yes, that feeling sometimes shows in me. but usually i forget about that feeling at the last minute so that i just let them with their judgment... while i don't care about that so much.

Sometimes. It seems like you can't give your opinion about immigration or you are automatically dubbed a "racist"; even though you are speaking the TRUTH.
