Guinea pigs love food way to much, so sometimes you just have to ignore them. However, they will also squeel when they want attention, so it wouldn't hurt to take him out when he starts calling for you.

No, don't Ignore him. Pick him up.

Guinea Pigs are herding animals that like the company of others. In the wild they live in family groups of 8 or 10.

Now that he's fed, he wants cuddle time with mommy. Pick him up and hold him, and he will be quiet and make gurgling sounds when you pet and pat him. That means he is very happy to be close to you, and he will be happy to be cuddled next to your neck or in your arms for the next hour or so. Use a towel under him for spills ;).

Guinea pigs are the ultimate lap pet. I love guinea pigs.

Guinea pigs squeal for many reasons. If they've just been fed, he may just be wanting your attention. Our guinea pig squealed more for attention then he did when he wanted food.

As long as they're well fed with a variety of good foods, he may just want attention. Ours always squeeked when we opened the fridge, even if he was just fed.

don't ingore the almighty piggie. make sure that the piggie has clean water. But most of all cuddle time. I have to cuddle with my piggie at least 4 times a day. (she's spoiled.) but hey she doesn't squeal for food. they even love it if they are on the bed with loose blankets. they get all long. They like to be left alone on mommy's bed. i dunno why. hmm but i check on my piggies (yes i have 3) very 5 min. when they are on the bed sleeping and pooping.

He may want some veggies if you didn't give him any. Some times they beg just to be begging.
