Your baby should sleep on it's back for about the first 6 months. I used a baby sleep positioner that kept my daughter from rolling over. It worked wonders until she started rolling over.

Doctors will say on the side or back....But all three of my babies slept on their stomachs...and are healthy and almost grown. Decide for yourself....However you feel most comfortable putting your child down to sleep is probably the best thing for you to do. Good luck.

Back sleeping is the best sleep position for your baby and provides the best protection against SIDS. The American Academy of Pediatrics says that back sleeping is the preferred sleep position.
