definitely. the philippines remains a good destination for tourists despite the bad pr it's been getting (politics, security issues, etc.). it has so much to offer, particularly to those who want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of modern day living. your money would go a long way considering how cheap food and accommodation are.

Why not? The Philippines is a great country to visit. We have a lot to offer foreign visitors, and there are many things to see and do here. For those who are into history and culture, we have a number of World Heritage sites here. If you are into beaches and nature-tripping, you can go visit Pagudpud, Boracay, Palawan and Bohol. Shopping and dining are also excellent. Prices are also quite affordable; in fact, Manila, the Philippine capital city, was named as one of the cheapest cities in the world recently.

Cheers.

Yes, I would recommend you to go there, I was there this peak season and I have seen lots of foreigners visiting the country.. but make sure that you have someone with you to show you around gives you tips and advice to go anywhere.. I have seen lots of Korean young students, they got used to Philippines and they look more independent without parents around.
whatever the purpose of your visit, give it a try..
Watch on your budget, though it seems it is cheap there, not when you have somebody around you and enjoy lots of shopping or going out..

Yes, 100%. Reminder: Avoid the muslim Mindanao Area. There are fighting inbetween government troops and the Abbu Sayyaf group in Jolo, Sulu (Anti-terrorist drive by the gov't). Visit major cities in Luzon or the Visayas and enjoy your stay. If you wish to practice target shooting, I will be most glad to assist you.

Depends which area where'd you want to go. The beaches are superb, food is good and cheap, and of course lots of malls to shop in the city.
