It would be technology. I mean there is so many fields but more non set pay so you can basically earn what you want if you are high up. But you can easily make the next level whereas healthcare is a slow process

Both fields have some very high paying positions with good benefits.....a nurse, a radiologist, a computer programmer/engineer.
There are some occupations in the middle range and some on the very low range....
It depends on the occupation....and where you work can make a difference.
My thought is whatever field a person is interested in, be more interested in how much you will enjoy the occupation and will use your skills. Money is not everything...and days, months, and years can drag by if you are stuck in something that is dull or not challenging enough or stresses you out.
There are more health hazards in the heath care field, but everyone is supposed to be using universal precaution.
A hazard sometimes of technology is sitting on your rear too much and not getting enough exercise or possibly not much contact directly with people.

that is a ridiculous question
there are many many careers in both those fields and they run the entire range of pay scales
brain surgeons can easily make 10 times more than IT grunts
some computer analysts can make 10 times more than hospital technicians
these are big fileds
they both have many great jobs that can provide a decent living
so, if you are thinking about a career in either field, think about what you might develop a passion for doing and don't worry much about what pays more, if there is a decent living to be made at something you think you could enjoy, go for it

HEALTHCARE HEALTHCARE HEALTHCARE!
We currently have a shortage of nurses in the U.S.! Pharmacists, doctors...you apply in this field, you get snatched up with a quickness. You'll NEVER be out of the job market in health care! There are NO impacted fields here! As a matter of fact, RNs and pharmacists get paid VERY well. We're talking $33 an hour and upwards.

Well technology and healthcare are both things we will definetly need in the future, as to which one pays more, it depends on the field of work.

Technology. I work at a hospital as a tech and unless you have a Doctor's certification you won't make squat in the healthcare field. Most nurses do it for small wages but more importantly to most of them, they feel they're making a difference in someone's life.

It depends on the career. If your health care career is interventional radiology, you will make some money. If your technology career is like that of Bill Gates, you will make more.

Depends how far you go. I think healthcare, plus you usually get more benefits with healthcare and probably a better retirement.

They're all at least 18+ months of schooling and I would say HIT would pay the most with MA next in line.

more specific? you can't really compare two things that broad.. they both pay well.. but I'm going to have to go with health care, except that for higher level health care, like doctors. you make a lot of personal sacrifices to own your own practice, or to do emergency calls to save lives.. and technology doesn't really have anything like that.
