I thought complementary added to 90 degrees.
You should probably look that up.

60 degrees. Complimentary angles are angles that add to 180 degrees (halfway around a circle, or everything on one side of a straight line). Since the large one is twice the size of the small one, the total is equal to three times the size of the small one, so 180/3=60 degrees.

Set up as x + 2x = 180. Complementary angles add up to 180 degrees, I think.

the one angle is 240 degrees, the other is 120 degrees! if they are complimentary, they make up 360 degrees! 360/3 is 120 and 120*2 is 240@

You don't have enough information, in order to do this you would need to know the measure of one of the angles.
