OIL! Bottom Line! You don't see us in other countries ( Africa, Eastern Europe, etc.) getting the terroirist there, and liberating their opressed people. Its all about OIL!

Many people like to think that if we stop them in Iraq, we'll be safe, but if we really do what we say we are doing, protecting our freedom, then we will be all over the world, fighting terrosits in Africa, Eastern Europe, Russia, China, North Korea and the list can go on. This war will go on for years and years and years. There will be no end.

Is the life of an American Soldier so worthless, that people just throw them out there and run them like machines, forgetting that they have families back home, being physically drained, and mentally haunted by what the act of war has exposed them to. They are people, brave people, but people like anyone else, but the only difference is they are putting their life on the line to protect their families, their country and what this country stands for. The only thing is that they ARE NOT fighting for our freedom and protecting us, they are fighting for the personal intrests of this administration, and they use this whole "War on Terror" thing as a great way to get what they want and manipulate Americas people out of fear.

Terrorism will never be defeted, its like trying to catch a wave that washes up on the beach, you can't it will slip right through your fingers, and right when you think you have a plan to catch it, the water stagmites, and you still haven't caught your wave. Terrorism will always be there, and it always have been, but instead of waging war on the ocean of terrorists, and having them slip through our fingers time after time, we should be working on America, beefing up our security in airports, bus/train terminals, subways and ports. We should be making America safe for everyone, dealing with out failing education system, protecting our borders, taking care of our elderly, taking care of our sick, taking care of our unemployed and homless. We should be focusing on waging war on drugs, gangs, violence. We need to bond together to fight terrorist with a secure country! Where is our army that is supposed to be keeping us safe - all in Iraq and the Middle East, fighting their war, protecting their people, fixing their country, taking care of their elderly, showing them how to run their country.......... Meanwhile, America is crumbling more and more past repair.

So, the war in Iraq is not the war on terror, or on the man who attacked us on 9/11, its a war for oil, MONEY! Sad that our brave men & wemone of the US Military and their families are suffering so much, all to better this administration financial gain.

The commission's comprehensive investigation has found "no credible evidence that Iraq and al-Qaida cooperated on attacks against the United States." In fact, the report concludes that al-Qaida and Saddam Hussein's regime did not even have a "collaborative relationship" in a broader sense. President Bush disputed that conclusion, but he offered no evidence to contradict the commission's findings, which were based on a review of pertinent classified documents.
The real answer.......oil & revenge!

We are there to protect our freedom! I know it sounds cliche, but if we don't finish what we went there to do, then they can and will attack our country again and it will most likely be on the same scale as September 11th was if not worse. People complain about the innocent life lost in Iraq, but that is part of war. I apologize if that sounds insensitive, but it is the truth. Just think about the may American lives that would be lost if we left Iraq, Iran, and all the others alone!!!
