I like Howl at the Moon, but you can pick up a free copy of Nuvo magazine and it lists all the bars, a small description of them, and contact info.

i am not an authority in the indy club scene.. but no trip to indy is complete without a stop at tiki bob's!! (broadripple pub also but that is beside the point)
