1- 5x^6
5x * x = 5x 4+2=6 you add your exponents
2- y= 10 square root(24/x)
6y^2(2y^4)(2y^4)
6y^2(4y^8)
24y^10
y= 10-square root(24/x) because you multiplied when you had why so you have to do the opposite because its x
3- 7x^-5
you subtract your exponents... if you cant have negative exponents your answer would be -7x^1 but you dont have to show the one.
4- too much thinking... hard to explain on computer..
good luck hope it helps!

1. 5X^6 just add the exponents.
2. Remember order of operations - do the ( ) first.
3. When dividing subtract the exponents.
4. 12x^3 + 12y^3 / 9x + 9y=
4x^2 + 4y^2/ 3+3 work out the math than cancel out as much as possible ends up as:
4x^2 + 4y^2/ 6 then change the 4's to 2's and the 6 to 3.
