Realize that it is his problem, and not yours. You should not make it yours. Once you respond to 'his' problem about you, then he has defeated you. Defending yourself from his non-sensible childish remarks makes you stoop down to his level. If he makes smart remarks about you, ignore them. Plain and simple. Show everyone else that you are a mature individual. Do not respond to his childish remarks. If you feel that you must say something to him, show restraint. Sometimes he might feel threatened by your intelligence or jealous of your friends in class. (Do any chicks like you?) This is how he defends himself. Does he have any friends in class? Is he a show off? Remember, it is his problem, not yours. People like this usually come to a bad ending sooner or later. Don't let it be with you!

I think that you need to chose to be the bigger person, dont lash out, dont make a smart remark, just ignore him. You only have a short time to go before your year is done. When high school is over your life becomes so much more important. People say High School is suppose to be the best time of your life, I can honestly say being a varsity cheerleder and having lots of friends, high school was a small blip on the radar screen for me and was probably my least favorite time in thus far

For the time being, don't do anything (maybe he changed over the summer, ya never know). Just keep it cool and be cordial, but if something does happen do exactly as I say. When he makes a remark, smile and give a short chuckle... Then when he asks why you're smiling/laughing say this, "Oh nothing, I'm just happy knowing that every morning when I wake up, I'M...NOT...YOU..." Everytime I've ever used it, the person immediately shuts up.

Try to have something ready when he makes a comment. Don't react from your gut...it could get you in trouble or start a fight. This is actually a "learning moment" because you are going to meet people like him out in the workforce.

You gotta think of a quick return remark that will put him in his place. Ask some of your close friends for ideas. Your good friends will probably have real killer comeback lines for you!!

You are in 12th grade, that tells me you are no longer a kid.Remember that your parents or guardians sent you to school to learn.Be the bigger guy.Walk up to him and shake his hands and tell him that you guys can work togather and pass your exams and go to college and become the best friends ever.
Do this and you will feel good about yourself.I made a mistake once in a similar situation but I later found out that the guy has been wanting to be my friend. Now he is my son's godfather.
Good luck

Just tuff it out school will soon be out and you want half to see each other for the rest of your lift.
Have you ever just talked to the guy to see what the problem is.Maybe you did something way back and he never forgot about it..Go talk to him,if your a Man...

Rocking Dude do exactly what you experience is sweet and don't attempt to choose if she likes you or no longer. Shes incredibly smiles at you u.s. you the two could comprehend that there are massive feeling there. Ask her out on a date and get it mutually, or you will loose her.

If you ain't got enough bullets to finish the war, don't fire the first shot. If all you have is one good line, you'd better keep your mouth shut. Trust me, I'm one of those smartasses who would cut you down mercilessly if you tried to play in my league.

Your best bet is if he makes a smart comment to you, say, "if you think that's funny..." and punch him in the face.

If you've made it this long without losing it , I would just say leave it alone. Something tells me people like that already feel stupid.

Ignore him, don't let him spoil your last year or make you do something to get you kicked out.

Too bad you can't transfer to another class and avoid him all year.
