No, I wouldn't watch it. It's sick to want to watch another person dying.

the bottom line in this argument lies with the family...if they feel it is right to see the death of steve doing what he loved doing then that would be the case....only they will decide and i hope if they do they charge an arm and a leg for the benefit of the causes steve espoused........i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Yes, I would. Even though it was a very sad situation, I think they should still release the movie he was wotking on. They should show all the footage up to the moment before his death. Then pan away to a sea of blood (or just go black) and stick a memorial up on the screan for him. It may sound sick, but its reality. People would go see it and it would make his family a lot of money. I would go. We watch people in dying or dead all the time, in real life or on tv. Its a fact of life. Its sad, but all his (Irwin's) life, his purpose was to teach people about the real facts of wild animals. This could be his final life lesson for the world. He could show the true beaty and danger of wild creatures.

No i wouldn't.
No one will , because the tape will be destroyed,
According to the family and the families manager Joe Stainton.

I know some people are compelled by curiosity, but for godsakes, would you like us to watch your mother or father or son to die? And get hits on YouTube? No didn't think so

Froggy , we are talking about his actual " death footage "
The rest of the documentary may be released, but that has not been decided on.With the media and close friends believing it won't be released.

I wouldn't watch him while he's dying, but I would be interested in what exactly he was doing wiht the sting ray before he died, for all I know, he may of deserved it knowing how rough he can handle animals, seeign the video would help me decide if I should have sympathy for him, or if I should just say that it was what was he had coming to him, and I personally would like to make that decision in an informed matter.

Yes. Out of curiousity.

Why did a man with such courage with many beasts take a sting ray fro granted?

I'd want to watch because I want to see what he did wrong.
