everytime I try the bottom lid it ends up all smudged by the end of the day!

it all depends on ur eyes...if you have semi big eyes it will look really nice! but if u have small eyes u should n't ///it will make ur eyes look smaller....if u do decide to use eyeliner put a little bit of dark eye shadow exactly on top of the eyeliner it will make it stay

I only put eyeliner on my top lid. It doesn't have anything to do with smudging, it just looks better that way with my eyes. My top lashes are very long and thick and to put anything on my lower lid or even on my lower lashes is over kill. I always use black mascara and eyeliner, it gives it a classic Hollywood look.

of course, its your style! you can wear it however you want :) if you do a thick wing of black eyeliner on top, you will achieve a more mod affect as well
also you may want to try various brands of 'smudge proof' and water proof, they tend to last longer. I use Urban Decay, smudge and water proof eyeliner, works great on the bottom lid assuming i dont wipe it myself

Putting dark eyeliner on the top lids and not the bottom makes the eyes look bigger.. and i think it makes them look more natural!

Of course it's okay! I like wearing more eyeliner on my top lid, and minimal amounts on the bottom...it really makes my eyes pop!

Of course its okay to only line the top, thats what i do! Try a waterproof eyeliner, it doesnt smudge as easily.

Ya!!
Thats exactly how I am. The bottom lit always smudges off so I wear it only on the top. It still looks good!

Makeup is whatever you want it to be. It is hard not to smear eyeliner on the bottom lid. Don't worry so much, do whatever you want to do.

YES! I prefer it taht way myself. It looks too hard when you put it on both. you can get that nice cat look with it just on the top.
