"Those are those big black CDs, right?"

I sh*t you not, some kid said that to me once. I almost dropped dead. Yep, I still have my albums. I haven't played them in years but I'm keeping 'em!

Sure - Even though I don't have a turntable anymore. I have some of my parent's albums from the days of my childhood- the stuff they would listen to: Herb Alpert; Bert Kaempfert; Charlie Byrd; Andy Williams; Percy Faith; Bob Dylan; Dave Brubeck. I have not bought any LPs for years, but still look for ones that are in good shape. Some of mine are; Pink Floyd; Moody Blues; ELP; Eloy; Omega; Yes; CSN; Dave Mason; and a real favorite, Tangerine Dream. Most turntables are running about $500.00 to $3000.00 ( for DJs)...

Yeah, Im building a collection. I was born during the final phase out of records, when you could really only get tapes (remember tapes?), so Ive got this romantic nostalgia for them. old underground indie & punk vinyls are my favorites to collect, and I just scored a Buzzc.ocks 7'', and a couple of 12'' from The Triffids & New Order.

Regrettably most of them went to used record stores about 15 years ago. I had over 700. I put the best ones on tape first and have also gotten CD copies of some of my favorite records. I still have about 30 of my favorite record albums. My wife probably has about 100. She kept all of hers.

Yes, I have lots of them! I think most are my husband's albums. We both had large collections when we got married. We sold a lot of them 20 years ago to make room for stuff like furniture after we got married. But I still pull out an album now and then and play it! They still sound great!

I have about 2000 records and I love them all!!!
There is sooo much you can do with vinyl that you can't do with cd's I just don't like how much room they take up but beyond that I love them!

Yes, about 120 of them, including about 15 comedy albums by George Carlin and Bill Cosby.

I still have mine too. Used to teach and felt VERY old when students didn't know what an album was! I even have a couple old 8 tracks!

Yes, but I only kept the ones that brought back memories and got rid of the others - my CD collection was taking up too much space!
