I think Zidane because he has won everything in soccer and Ronaldinho still has to show what he can do. Ronaldihno is talented but sometimes he doesnt play good in important matches as it happened in the World Cup.

Both Zidane and Ronaldinho have won World Cup championships. Their teams always seem to play better when both are on the field.
Currently, Ronaldinho is suffering from a long and extended season with little rest over the summer.
I would say Zidane didn't do much at Real the last two or three years and seemed to fade with great talent by his side, while young Ronaldinho is at the peak of his career. Ronaldinho gets my vote.
Besides, Zidane always seems to get red cards when it counts, both at the club and international level. He's similar to Rafa Marquez of Barcelona. Rafa also loses his temper and will accumulate yellow and red cards and have to sit out crucial games.
Zidane was too hot-headed.

You can't really compare them. They have different styles of play. Plus, Ronaldinho is younger then Zidane and has a long carrer ahead of him. Zidane is now retired and he did so much for the game. Ronaldinho is going to do the same as he keeps playing. He has great skills and loads of passion. Always entertaining. It's really hard to choose between the two. But i'd say Ronaldinho. B/c I like brasilian's style of play....I can't explain it....

If you go by the result of the world cup I would say Zidane. honestly, Ronaldihno is a more rounded player than Zidane. He is faster and seems to enjoy the game more. He has a better temper than Zidane and he hasn't embarass his country and teammates like Zidane did.

I will vote for Zidane because Ronaldhino has never convinced me when he was playing for an average team like PSG and Zidane was awesome when he was playing for Bordeaux bringing the team to the final of the UEFA cup after beating the great Milan AC.
Ronaldhino needs excellent players around him to play well when Zidane is wonderfull whatever the team he plays for. See France was not so good without him, almost not qualified for the World cup. He comes back and they qualify for the big event and go to the finals...
Dont get me wrong, Ronaldhino can do lots of wonderfull things with a football ball, but he always could be successfull with his tricks when he was playing against average teams of the Liga. Zidane has really been important in important games, remember his goal in the champions league final with Madrid against Leverkusen, this is something that will stay as an anthology moment. I dont recall any goal from Ronaldhino as such thing.
Ronaldhino is just big now because of marketing... and a great great team FC Barcelona with great great players. I would finish by saying that I think it is unfair that nobody says anything about Deco who is the real star of Barcelona. Without him, Barcelona would not be as strong.
I would like to add that Ronaldhino never played in the calcio when Zidane spent five years in the most difficult league for creative players...
My conclusion, Ronaldhino will be the best when he will prove it by playing in the calcio for five years in row with the same success as the one of Zidane.

ronaldinho has flashes of brilliance and is a wonderful and entertaining player, but zidane is more of an intelligent player and is more consistent...so i choose zidane

i go with zidane
Zidane - a man who led his team to a World Cup 98 and Euro Cup '00. He scored an amazing goal agains Leverkusen in the Champions League that brought Real Madrid the title. His first touch and passes are incredible and I think none understands the game like he does. He almost never fails a pass and he is the LEGEND

RONALDINHO WITHOUT A SHRED OF A DOUBT!!! How could you even compare Zidane to Ronaldinho ? Zidane is nowhere near Ronaldinho in terms of skills, speed, footwork and sportmanship. Ronaldinho could be compared to Maradona or Zico. But Zidane ....DUH!!!
