ok im not one to chose one thing and be sure about it. ps3 or wii? wii looks like fun but it seems like it has crappy graphics. or if i get both which one should i buy first while i save up for the other one. ONE MORE QUESTION will the ps3 or wii have good online like xbox?

Why join in on the console wars? I say just sit cool for a week after the last one's release and take a look at reviews. If you aren't astounded with what you see, get a ps2 or xbox or something.

The Wii has online play, like Xbox, only it's free. I don't know about the PS3. Plus the Wii will have all old Sega games, all old Nintendo games, and a lot of other old games for dead systems. "Crappy graphics" is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I don't care if my characters sweat or not, and that seems to be the only thing that has improved graphically in this gen. That is, the graphics haven't changed much, even though they are "2 to 3 times better than the Gamecube" on the Wii. Maybe not as shiny, but it's cheaper and has much more value on it than the PS3.
"Wii looks like fun but it seems like it has crappy graphics." If you want fun, (and a fuller wallet/less saving up) then get the Wii. If you want graphics and less fun, get the PS3.
Oh, and I've heard (not confirmed) that Wii games will still run at about $50 while PS3 run at $60 for new.

I would go with Wii....like many gamers I grew up on the good ole graphics of NES and SNES. Graphics aren't everything....they can make a game look awesome but if the game play isnt there then why waste all time just for a pretty picture. Plus the price point was announce at $200-$250 which is great. As far as online Playstation won't convince me until I see it. I was an early adopter with the PS2 online and I have not seen it get any better from day 1, still alot of connectivity issues and issues of not having anyone online. Wii I believe they have done a wonderful job with online play for the DS, not as good as Xbox Live but still good. I honestly think game play out ways graphics. If you want flashy (not always better) then go with PS3 (but latest rumor has it pushed out until March 07) but if you ever wanted to pick up the sword as Link in Zelda or (hope Georgie and Nintendo are listening) pick up the lightsaber in StarWars, or swing your controller and hit the ball out of the park go with the Wii.

I'd love to get a PS3 but $600 is crazy! For less than half you could have a Wii, with a motion sensitive controller and the capability of downloading every old-school game from the orginal NES to now! Wow! I'm sure the PS3 is awesome, but it's too rich for my blood!

well nintendo in consoles are not famous for internet access. PS3 internet will be great. umm lets see. id say wii cause its good gaming for not too much money but if you can afford it without trouble then get the PS3. if your getting both, then get the Wii first. I had the same problem but i chose Wii Oh and dont get me wrong. I think wii is much better. im just adjusting to your umm...requests.

Ya,unless your sum rich b***ard dont get the ps3,it just looks stupid,it rips off the wii with the motion sensor idea,and all the graphics are probly pre rendered,and ya,the wii will cost less than 250,so sure,it may not have the best graphics,but it is sure different than anything else out there...and nintendo seems like they are really trying to step it up and make fun games for mature players,as well for the kids...or,if you havent already,just get the 360...whatever you want basicly

definitely wii. for $600 i would never buy a ps3... especially since i never had a ps, ps1 or ps2. wii is supposed to be between $100-$150, which is pretty awesome, plus it has weird new controllers (motion sensitive) although i wouldnt be surprised if they came out with a normal handheld controller.

the wii is supposed to have free wireless internet out of the box for downloads and multiplayer.
