A ton of feathers will be 1000 lbs. heavier than 1/2 a ton of bricks. Nice.

A ton of feathers since a ton is 2000 pounds, not 1000.

I think the bricks are heavier, because if someone says they have "a ton of feathers," they probably mean it metaphorically. It probably doesn't weigh anywhere near 1000 lbs, let alone a ton.

1000 lbs of bricks.
You just try to weigh a ton of feathers. Do you know how big of a scale you would need? It has never been done, so no one knows how much a ton of feathers weighs.

That depends; if you're saying that the feathers WEIGH a ton, then the feathers weigh more. But if you're saying there are 2000 feathers, then the bricks weigh more. You do realize this is a 5th-grade logic level question, right?

A ton is 2000 lbs. So that makes the feathers the heaviest.

Well a ton is 2000 lbs, so I would have to say a ton of feathers.
