it will depend on your email program (if they are windows friendly or not) - the basic choice is done via start>set program access or defaults (also available through start>control panel>add remove programs>set program access and defaults - either way this will allow you to expand the custom setting which will allow you to choose installed email programs (a majority of which are not available if they are web based etc...)you may also choose from your Internet browser (in IE you would go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs and select your email from the provided list)

What email systems do you have on your computer to choose from. You default has to be an account on your computer. Most likely you already have Outhouse Express and what ever your internet provider gave you.
Since you don't give any info. here, I suggest you contact your ISP and have them help you set up which ever you want as a default.

Are you talking about yahoo mail?
If so, go to the options page, and select "Mail accounts" from there you are able to choose which mail account you wish to use as the default.
