I've asked this a while ago, but I want to see if things have changed.
If another presidential election were held today, who would you pick; a liberal, conservative, or a green/independent/etc., candidate? Pick a party, not a specific person.
2.Would your answer have been different in 2004? What would you have picked then?
Thanks

I agree, we should really vote on the person, not the party, but which party do you think would best run this country, including president, congress, and house of representatives?

And I mean democrats, republicans, etc. Liberal and conservative is more of an ideology, I admit.

Whether today or in 2004, my choice has nothing to do with polls, political advertisements or who has the most money. Although I do have a "party", I have chosen and will continue to choose to vote for the person I believe to be best qualified, no matter which affiliation they have.
For me, part of those qualifications are integrity, moral excellence and good family relations. I try to choose a person who stands for those things which I believe in, whether it be in foreign or domestic policies.

Liberal.

Third party candidates at this point have no substantial power base, and would be operating without a majority in either the House or Senate.

I've had enough of a conservative President for now, thank you.

Same as 2004.

No! don't be a sheep! i might want to be prepared to be that more desirable than 1/2 the persons on listed lower than are basically bleating sheep doing what they're informed or doing something because somebody else has executed it. Screw that, once you've made it this some distance sturdy for you. If I were you i might want to initiate heavily searching yet i'd not bypass attempting to get laid or something, there are various ho's available and far more desirable diseases. Staying unmarried is with out doubt one of the happiest ingredient someone can do. i imagine you've it proper.

You're saying to pick a party, but you list ideologies (liberal, conservatives, etc.) I assume you meant to list the American parties? Or are you British and you meant the Liberal Party, the Conservative Party, etc.???

I can't pick a party without a candidate. I would not change my vote from 2004.

I am independant, I wish there had been more choices in the last election. The only obvious winners in 04 were either bush or kerry. I voted for bush but if Mccain had beat out bush I would have voted for him. I probably would have voted for micky mouse if he was the only running against Kerry.

I don't vote by party. I vote for people.

And voting on party lines is the cause of more political problems in this country than anything else.

Not to mention that "liberal" and "conservative" are not political parties in the US, so your "pick a party" statement doesn't work.

This is a stupid poll. I don't pick candidates by party only. No wonder there is so much animosity on these boards, we can't get past the party politics.

These days I just vote to get the cute sticker, with the American flag shaped heart. But I still pick democrats.
