Don't eat anything as long as you're vomiting -why put it in if it's only gonna come right back up?

You want to do small amounts of clear fluids frequently. A sip of ginger ale, flat sprite, flat coke, watered down gatorade - every 10 minutes until you go 8 hours without vomiting is good. Once you go 8-12 hours without vomiting, you can add back some light solids - bland, starchy stuff is best. (Especially if you have diarrhea too.) Crackers, pretzels, rice, noodles, bread - any of this is good to start with. Stay away from greasy, salty, spicy, or dairy for AT least a day or two.

Make sure you stay hydrated, and if you vomit blood, or something resembling coffee grounds or you have a black like tar or white like mayo BM, you NEED to see a doctor ASAP.

Feel better!

# If you have diarrhea or nausea, you may want to let your bowel rest for a few hours by drinking only clear liquids. Examples of clear liquids are water, weak tea, bouillon, apple juice, or sports drinks and other oral rehydrating solutions. You may also drink soft drinks without caffeine (such as 7 UP) after letting them lose some of their carbonation (go flat). It is important to drink small amounts (1 to 4 ounces) often so that you do not become dehydrated. Becoming dehydrated may be very dangerous, especially for children, older adults, and some people who have other medical problems. Suck on ice chips or Popsicles if you feel too nauseated to drink fluids.
# It is OK to keep eating as long as it does not seem to worsen diarrhea or stomach cramps. Foods that are easiest to digest are soft foods, such as bananas, cooked cereal, rice, plain noodles, gelatin, eggs, toast or bread with jelly, and applesauce. Avoid milk products and caffeine for a few days. Return to your normal diet after 2 or 3 days, but for several more days avoid fresh fruit (other than bananas), alcohol, greasy or fatty foods such as cheeseburgers or bacon, and highly seasoned or spicy foods. Avoid most fresh vegetables. Cooked carrots, potatoes, and squash are OK. If eating seems to worsen the diarrhea, let your bowel rest for a few hours by drinking just clear liquids.

Eat nothing for the first 24 hours no food. Drink gatorade or water or ginger ale as tolerable. After 24 hours follow the BRAT diet. Bananas , rice, toast , apples.
