Yes, you're entitled to alimony.

Get a lawyer and off you go.

No sex for seven years???? If you haven't seen anyone outside of the marriage , AT ALL, and because of the lack of sex, and intimacy which the LORD requires in a MARRIAGE ONLY, then you can hire a detective to see if he's seeing anyone and have his Actions caught on Tape..

Use "CHEATERS" that airs on FOX TV station, Saturday night 9:00 pm PST, They are a Nationwide Service and a Detective in your City/State will be assigned to you.

If you need FREE service you qualify if you'll allow them to air your case on TV when they catch him...if you don't want it aired then it's a fee...they'll talk to you about payment arrangements.

You have to get actual PHOTOS of his Actions with the other person taken by a representative from a reputable Licensed Detective agency to be presented to a Judge in court so that no questions will be asked insofar as you doctoring the film or tape. etc.

File under grounds of, ADULTRY, which is a CRIME in some States, if you can in your State, and you should be entitled to whatever you ask, or at least get what you deserve for all of those years enduring abuse. Seek the advice of an Attorney.

That will work only, if he CAN'T prove that you've cheated on him, because if you have, then, the courts will decide how to split things... maybe 50/50 with no Alimony ????? I don't know.

Let us know how everything go with you and I'll be praying for you and your family..You should stay in Prayer too and give the situation to the LORD...he'll help you through people that's asked him to use them to be a blessing and will put them in your path. That's what I asked him to do for me....to make me a blessing to help others.

Who knows, your Husband might not be seeing anyone and the two of you only need Marriage counseling.

Try and get him to agree to that if he's not cheating and seeing someone else.

God Bless You.

I know you are entitled to half his retirement pay and possibly alimony as well. I would say you take half of everything including the retirement and go. I think asking for alimony is a little greedy. By the way, I am a military wife as well, although I have worked my whole life, been a housewife, and a mother. Your failure to do something with your life other than what you have done is not his fault.

You are entitled to 1/2 of the community assets, if you are residenets of a community property state. Since you have no job skils (because of your having staied home to care for his children in his absences) you will get some alimony, but it willb e limited & you will be expeted to go get a job.
Abuse is very common in the military. He's used to giving orders & having them followed w/out question & that's not how marriages work.

In our country, you are entitled to everything, not only half..
what is wrong?
What happened.
Your children are all grown up,,, they could help you..
No, sex, is that health problem or what...
You should know.. sex alone is not the gauge for a happy marriage after all those years.

At 18, yrs,, he may still be strong...
Unless there are health problems.,.

The guidelines for alimony vary somewhat state to state. Your attorney would be the best to answer that. In the meantime, do a search of requirements for your state... that should give you some of the info you need.
