Don't put a tip under your nail to pry them off!!!!
Use pure acetone only. Polish removers will not work for this. Pour some in a glass bowl and soak. Soak for about 20 minutes. Without removing the nails from the acetone start scraping with an orange wood stick. Soak and scrape some more until it's all off. You must keep the nails in the acetone because if you remove them the product will start to set up again.
You can use a very fine grit buffer afterwards to smooth your rough nails.
If you have acrylics with a gel overlay then you will have to file the top of the nail to break the gel seal otherwise no amount of soaking will do anything to the product.

Soak them in pure acetone, which you can buy at any beauty supply store. I was a manicurist for years and I used to tell my clients to rent a movie and soak. They will get very gooey and use a somewhat coarse nail file to buff the acrylic away a little bit at a time. Your nail beds can be very thin and maybe sore afterward but give yourself a manicure and they will be fine in a weak or two.

There is no "best" way. Any method you choose is going to wreak some damage to your real nail. Once you begin applying acrylic nails, you are obligated to continue or live with some nail disfigurement until your own nails renew themselves.

Soak them in a nail varnish remover which contains acetone. Thats how they do it in the salons to remove the broken ones before they redo them.

Get it done professionally. Trust me it hurts!! Plus it will keep away from infections, and it really is bad for your REAL nails. I stopped those.

Go into the salon to have it done. I soaked mine in acetone once and had to peel them off. NOT FUN and very painful. It's just easier to have them done the right way.
