yall?

step by step

1/2d + 3/8 = -2d

1/2d=-3/8-2d----------moved 3/8 to other side change to -3/8

1/2d+2d=-3/8-----------moved -2d toother side change to +2d

1/2d+2/1d=-3/8-------- changed 2d to 2/1d. it is the same thing

1/2d+4/2d=-3/8--------changed 2/1 to 4/2. it is the same thing

5/2d=-3/8-------1/2d+4/2d=5/2d

20/8d=-3/8 --------------changed 5/2 to 20/8. it is same thing

20d=-3 ----------------------remove /8 from buth side

d=-3/20 ---------------------- d is -3 divided by 20

x+2 is the next odd integer
3x-13 = 2(x+2)
3x-13 = 2x+4
x-13=4
x=4+13
x=17

next integers are 17 and 19

So the first one you are solving for D
Move the d's to one side of the equation and the numbers to the other 1/2d +3/8 +2d = 0, then 2-1/2d = -3/8
multiply everything by 8
20d = -3
d=-3/20

x will be the smaller integer, so x+2 is the next odd integer
2(x+2) = 3x-13
2x+4 = 3x -13
4=x-13
17=x
so the integers are 17 and 19

1/2d + 3/8 = -2d
move d to only one side
1/2d + 2d = -3/8
____ _____
1/2 1/2

U can change it in to a fraction

.5d+.375=-2d

now subtract .375 from both sides

it becomes
.5d= -2.375

Now divide .5 by both sides, this will get the variable (d) by it self

d= -4.75

hit me up on yahoo messager if u wanna try to work it out 2gether for the next one if u'd like

REMEBER 2 test it out, just plug in d and see if it's correct.
