Hi,
I've been given 3000 dollars by my uncle and I'm looking for advice on the best way/place to exchange these into pounds so that I get the most £'s in exchange for these. The dollar seems to be worth less over the last few months so I'm not sure what to do or where to go. Appreciate any help.

your bank. they can issue u a cheque. the american dollar hasn't changed much in the UK. if u wait a minute...i will see what $3000 is worth. £1,601! Thats pretty cool no?
i also think the post office (not all do it) is a good choice. Happy Shopping!!

Have you tried the post office. They exchange money for no commission.

if u have bureau change....change it there...we have that in canada ...mayb in england...or you could go to a mall they usually have currency exchange there
