I'm from TN, and we all believe in the Bell Witch. The Bell Family's history is well known folklore here. As for the Bell Witch, she is highly sought after here.

We also have the "Wandering Headless man and the lights of Chapel Hill on the railroad Track". He wanders up and down the rails looking for his head. He was beheaded by a train running him down.

Hard to say but the Bell Witch was quite a famous national phenomenom. Future president Andrew Jackson stopped by the Bell Farm on his way to fight the British in New Orleans during the war of 1812. Supposedly he spoke with her and even had his wagon stopped by her.

Being from TN I grew up with her stories which is why when Blair witch Project first came out and people thought it was based on fact, I was skeptical becase it was too close to the Bell Witch.

I believe that there was something there at that time that haunted and tormented the Bells. Andrew Jackson actually went to try to help the Bell family and was scared away from the place. I don't know if she was a demon or a witch but I don't think that she is there anymore. If she was I wouldn't want to summons her.

You Go Girl! After you summon her up... Call Jack in The Bean Stalk To help kill her, then cook her up in her big black kettle.. Then you can have soup and Sand Witch for dinner

Only an idiot wouldn't believe in her. She eats children in the Easter and then uses a odlid in their bodies.

i have no direct knowlege of her, or it...

however i am a Pagan and a spiritual cleanser and the accounts seem to be consistent with many hauntings that i have seen.
