ok...well I am just recently out of a 2 yr long relationship!&&my bff "Jason" asked me to go out with him! I answered No because I like it better as just friends! yea I kno yall are thinkin its just a line..but its NOT!!! keeping in mind thats we have been bff's since like we were born! he got mad and crap.and won't talk to me! I feel really bad...what can I do?!?!

Since you were born a female you have this urge inside of you to "fix" everything around you, including people's emotions. But with this situation you need to leave him alone for awhile. You did not make the wrong choice in telling him the truth about how you feel. But right now his ego hurts, simple as that. I had a similar situation happen with my best guy friend, but he got over it (somewhat) and we are still friends. It will take him a while, but after about two weeks try talking with him again (if you still want to stay best friends). If he values your friendship he will realize that you were right,,,because most best friends who date end up ruining their friendship. Just next time you talk to him explain it that way: as in you don't want to lose your friendship and it's nothing against him...

did you let him know your reason for telling him no? Let him know that he means alot to you and your afraid of losing him if ya'll do go out and it doesnt work out.
