it has nothing to do with gender but in the foods consumed and digested as well as any vitamins/medications an individual may be on. diet and excercise. as far as the frequency, it is the same but more socially acceptable for men so the THEORY is that women don't so much. this is based solely on the perception of a woman.

Probably about the same.
A disturbing fact that I remember from science class is that smells are actually tiny particles of the substance in question being inhaled into your nose.
