Every society needs to have some type of check and balance, so one will know what the other one is doing at all times and that everything applies with their laws and constitution(beliefs) to protect their citizens in every aspects of life.

That's why they need an executive branch, someone to be in charge of the administration; a legislative branch, people to make laws(bills) that everyone can live by and be safe; and a judicial branch, people to interpret the laws that are made by the legislative branch and signed by the executive branch so we can we don't have to worry about criminal walking the street, knowing that they prison where they locked up and they can't harm anyone.
