How do I pick a college?

Question

I am applying to colleges right now but how do I know where to go?

I don't know where to apply to college. I want to study history and I don't wanna go to a really hard school. HELP!

First of all, there is no "easy" college. All colleges are hard. What you need to do is figure out if you want to go to a large public university or a small one, public or private, out of state or in state? There are many factors that can give u insight on what school to decide on. Secondly, get on the internet and do your own homework. Research on these schools and what programs are they known for. It will also be good if you could visit those schools and get a feel of the students and the campus. Ask ur guidance counselor for more information.

Go to your closest community college for 2 years until you figure out what you want to do. It will be a lot cheaper, and it is way more fun than high school because they treat you like an adult.

1st, do they offer what you want to study? 2nd, Is it in state or out of state or even close to your (your mom and dad) house? 3rd, Go to university, see it yourself, talk to student, look at classes, go to Jim and so so. 4th, talk to the people that have graduated from there. Are they happy with it? Do you want to go to college or university? If you want to work and go to school, college and then finish in university. If you just want to study, choose university. My opinion only. I am a graduate with Master degree.
