I live in las vegas and wondering about where to take my kids to the beach for the day.?

That's pretty tough considering you live in the desert...if you leave early in the morning you may be able to make it to Los Angeles (but I hear it's quite a trip). Otherwise consider lakes in the area. Good luck (it's hot there)

If you want to take your kids to the beach on an ocean, I would drive to the Los Angeles area and take them to Santa Monica or Malibu. It's beautiful there and the beaches are clean and safe.

If you're looking for any beach, just drive to Lake Powell or whatever other lake is close to Las Vegas.
