Well, you see, humans are a morbid creature. Animal testing is mostly for some cosmetic which keeps the dogs locked up and unloved unlike any normal dog should. http://www.astrudgilberto.com/images/Essay/animals-6.jpg Theres a dog that has been tested on, rather than loved. I really dont think we should allow our selves to torture animals whose world we took from them by destroying theyre habitates in order to make malls and such. Is it really worth torturing an animal to make some eyeshadow? And in response to nobodys answer, mostly dogs, kittens, bunnys, and monkeys :D

Well think about this... unless you go seeking it out, its out of sight and out of mind.

So with that being said... if I happen to think about some rat(s) being subjected to medical testing with negative side effects, I'm not real effected. If I thought humans were being tested, it might be a different story.

The reality is that these are the processes that produce medicines that help prolong and/or enhance life. If some rats that I don't know about die in the process, so be it.

No one likes the thought, but then again I dont like the thought of where my burger comes from either! Most of the animals would be euthanized any way, and from what a doctor told me the animals are not tortured. They are very sedated.

Why not test animal medicines on humans for the next several decades to even things out? Seems only fair...

I'd rather test on animals than give medicines to children for the first time without testing first.
