I prefer the detailed ones like your question; your question is very detailed. Detailed doesn't have to mean over-kill. I pass over the ones that make absolutely no sense whether long or short and the ones I have no answer for, whether detailed or not.

No, because I have found while doing this, that the more information, in some cases, the better. What I cannot stand is someone asking a question and leaving out everything I need to properly answer. You see, I can be a whole lot more effective on here if I have ALL of the facts.

Another thing I hate is people who answer with "yes," "no" or "I don't know," and that is it. It makes me want to ask a detailed question, or even something that these point hounds cannot half **** in answering. I mean, some people get on here and ask a question, because they REALLY need help, and Billy Joe Jim Bob answers with, "I don't know"... so WHY in the heck did he pick the question or even decide to answer it when he found that he had no idea. You would think he would move on in hopes of not looking like an idiot... but no... he takes the idiot route.

If it is an intelligent question, the more details provided often helps others form better answers than those with few to no details, so no, I don't pass them up just because they are long, only if they are silly or nonsense.

Sometimes. If I know something about the question, or am passionate about the topic, I don't mind answering them. I do skip long questions about things I don't know about though. I, on the other hand, often answer simple questions with detailed answers.

Well, I hate to admit it, but SOMETIMES ... YES!

Most of the time, I don't get to the computer until late night or early morning and by that point I am too tired to read long paragraph's of people having relationship problems.

depends what mood i'm in. I always laugh when someone posts a question like "what is your name" and there is 100 answers in the first 3 minutes. There is a lot of brain numbness on here.

I do if they are very very long. I dont like reading about their life history. If they would just ask a simple question I wouldnt mind. Although I know that some questions you cant ask in one or two sentences, so I guess shame on me.

Sometimes. It depends on the asker, are they repeating everything or not. Are there multiple questions within the original one...stuff like that I prefer NOT to answer because you don't really know what the asker wants to know, ya know?
