It's very simple yet very complicated... I know confusing.
In a nutshell it is all about who has the rights to Jerusalem. The UN stepped in after WW2 and decided to make arrangements for all Jewish ppl to have a state... the previous occupants of that region resent it and don't feel the Jewish ppl had the right to the land.

It is against their religion. The Muslims dominate the entire region except for Israel. Muslims want it all and want Jews and all non-Muslims dead. Israel is a democracy and is a huge threat to the Islamic terrorism.
Islam isn't much different from Josef Stalin's brand of politics. "Give it all to me or I'll kill you."
Israel and other democracies obviously don't have that kind of hatred, so naturally Islamics want to destroy all peace.

As recorded in the Bible, in the Old Testament book of Genesis 16:11-12, due to the disobedience of Abraham, he has a son named Ishmael with his wife's maidservant Hagar. As a result, God states the condition of Ishmael in relation his family... saying, "you are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers." If you trace the lineage of the nationalities in the middle east regions, you will find that it leads back to Abraham and his descendents, namely Isaac and Ishmael--Ishmael being the one who brings conflict and disunity to the whole. Interesting time, as we see this prophecy being fulfilled in OUR time!!!

The Islamic nation hates Israel because Muslims believe that any land they have ever invaded is holy land and belongs to them. If we allow this, they would rule France too. . . literally.
