All of a sudden, when I click on "compose" in Yahoo Mail, I cannot get a text box with the color and graphics toolbar. In contacting Yahoo, I am told to go into General Preferences and swith to "plain text only" which does give me a text box, but I would rather have the color and graphics text box. Does anyone know what would cause this and how to restore this feature?

I believe that I am in HTML format, but I don't know how to verify that. I have gone to general preferences and clicked and saved color and graphics - what I get is a screen with everything EXCEPT the text box. When I go back in and click plain text, I get a screen with a box for the text. How to restore the color and graphics?

The way to solve this is to set your format to HTML. Follow the instructions below to convert your mailing format to HTML. Do tell me if this works.

. Click the "Mail Options" link in the upper right hand corner of the page
. Click "General Preferences"
. Under the "Composing Emails" section, select "Compose messages as color and graphics"
. Click the "Save" button
