I am a guy with long hair, and when I play soccer I wet my hair, slick it back and then change it up with the style while using a skinny headband about a cm wide. I don't use my headband right on my forehead or on my hairline though. The problem is that my headband always slips up off my head. I notice professional players with long hair have no trouble with their headband. Is there some special way to wear it or am I doing something wrong? Is there a special kind of headband i need to get? Please help, it's really annoying to adjust it every 2 minutes.

I don't think it is tight enough. Tie a knot in the back.

Yeah, cut your hair :D It's gonna save you money from buying a headband and you won't feel hot...that much :P
