Just an observation -- It seems that people posting here tend to ask rhetorical questions a lot more frequently than in other categories. But I don't have any solid numbers to back this up.

So, here's my question:

Do people post rhetorical questions in the Politics category more often? And if so, why?

The original concept of a rhetorical question was to make statement in question form. So, in a forum that requires things to be in question-answer form, isn't that the most effective way to make a statement and still obey the rules?

Well, this is the place for rhetoric, not fashion, which is more concrete. Sure, people do post rhetorical questions here more than anywhere else. This is where rhetoric belongs.
