hi. my online friend told me that she hasn't heard from a friend in iraq in the past 2 days when they had been talking to each other each day, so she's really worried and scared about him not talking to her (she told me he has a cell phone so i guess they've been able to talk each day), so is there any advice that i can give my friend to help her deal with this? (i've been trying to help her feel better past 2 hours but she's just really worried)..thanks

i guess there isn't much you can tell her...i also have a friend with someone over there and she says that he goes DAYS without any sleep. So maybe he's just really, really busy over there. Sorry I can't be much help on what to tell her because there is a chance that something happened. Don't tell her that though, all she can really do is hope and pray for him.
p.s. saint jimmy is a c0ck smoker and deserves to be shot in the head
p.s.s. mandee is probalby right about the cell phone if he is actually fighting, but i know that the person my friend talks to over there works with computers and is not actually on the front lines and has a satellite phone, not sure what the case is with your friend's friend over there but thats just my two cents on the whole cell phone thing

If hes there fighting for our country, he does not have a cell phone. My sister bf is home now on a 2 week pass from Iraq. He was able to call everyday, but they have phone that they take turns using. If someone got killed he wouldnt be able to call until their family is notified, which I believe is 3 days. They are not allowed to have ANY contact with anyone from here in that situation. Or he could be on a mission. Tell her to calm down, Im sure hes fine. But she needs to ask him "IF something was to happen to you, how would I know". The red cross notifies people that the soldiers put on a list. So if they are really close maybe she could be added?
