They can't handle the truth, it hurts. Plus that is how they get temporary relief for the internal pain they feel. Most of them actually believe their own lies

I'm assuming that you question is real. I think you beleive that Republican lie so much because you beleive Democrat lies. Politicians want to get re-elected. Think about how you can do this, neither party is that much different, they have to live within the same system. So what options are there to distinguish themselves from the other group? Point the finger at them and say that they lie, that they are evil, etc. Democrats lie too, you just happen to favor them (or the people given you information) and beleive them . Bottom-line question what both parties say. They both say things they hope you want to hear. Neither is more evil, look at the policies they support and support the party that votes they way YOU want, don't support them because they say the other party is evil, liars, smelly, wimpy, hawkish or any other names

It has done them so well to get them elected, why should they change for such a minor reason as that its wrong. There political base believe them no mater what they say.

Both parties do. You think Clinton wasn't a natural born liar? Still, I think its insulting that the most powerful office in the world is held by what might as well be the slow kid in your 8th grade class.
