My god, can Liberals make any point without exaggerating? NOT!

Bush didn't say anything of the kind! Rumsfeld didn't call them FASCISTS. You can't even quote people correctly. He called them appeasers ONLY. Are you an idiot, or are you asking this question just to spread propaganda?

And, no I don't find it ironic at all. Most of the really far left liberals in this country today are much closer to Fascists than Republicans ever have been or ever will be.

The right engages in the school ground tactic of projection- they project their own negative attributes onto the left, as a way to stifle debate. Its the old 'i know you are but what am I"? mentality. For example, Rush Limbaugh's whole shtick-to this day- is attacking Bill Clinton. But he accuses the LEFT of being disrespectful to the office of president when they slam Bush. Michael Savage routinely calls liberals fascist- then he asserts the government should round up liberals and shoot them all!
The Bush administration is proto fascist -they are laying the groundwork for a future dictatorship- and their gloves will come off after 2008. Of course they'll call their critics fascist. its like the thief who is convinced everyone else is stealing for him, they imagine the left must be think the same things they are..

GW & Rumsfeld, say what you may, are not appeasers, as the word ironic in your question suggests. It is you (questioner) and your choir(most of your answerers) that are the appeasers. You call them war mongers and haters and then in 10 minutes, they are appeasers. There is not any way to get through to you people.

It takes some to know some, but what the devil do bush and rumsfeld mean by fascist?

I find the fact that men like Bush and Cheney are war hawks is ironic. Those cowards managed to get exemptions from military service when they should have served in their youth and all of a sudden they are G.I. Joe when they are 55 yearsd old. Always question those types of folks. Always. And question the folks that blindly follow them.

Yeah, I almost puked when I read Rumsfelds speech and watched Bush say it the other night. They are the terrorist criminals. Unfortunatly they have Bernase on their side and they are experts at brainwashing.

Its time to read 1984 again, people.

Not really. What do you call the terrorists? Freedom fighters.

I find liberals that would not fight for family members being blown up calling them freedom fighters pretty ironic.

I find Cindy Sheehan using her son's insurance from his death to do exactly what would have made him gag ironic.

no, not really ,just sad to see the president stooping to address a citizen with such disrespect, and by that i mean any group who exercises their right to speak out against a leadership, and is treated publicly by same leadership in a demeaning fashion to make outcasts of them ,proves the protesters point in my mind
