They're using a 'running back by committee' system, so you're better off finding a RB that isn't sharing carries with others.

The official starter has not been named, and wont be until opening day. Head coach Mangini is keeping quiet on this subject. While he wont come out and say it, I think he will use a running back by committee approach until a clear cut starter emerges. In my opinion if they were comfortable with Blaylock starting, they wouldn't have signed Barlow, so I would look for Barlow to get the official starting job.

I still haven't figured out why the Jets wanted Barlow, is Blaylock that bad?

Blaylock will start.. but the other 2 will get touches too.. whichs means there is no set RB yet until someone proves themselfs to the Jets Headcoach
