Firstly, congrats to the intelligent, well balanced sane individual who posted this pointless question (well there is a point - on the needle:). Here's some advice: "We learn by our mistakes, and what hurts us only makes us stronger".
Do any of you other respondees realise that it heroin is actually one of the best remedies for influenza (thats the flu for all u Americans :) but no "real" government would ever sanction its use/production for obvious reasons.

No it is not safe to shot heroin into your eye ball-unless you want to loss you eyesight.
also it is not safe to shot or use heroin at all.
that is bad stuff -it eats you and your life in time.

im gonna go with my gut and say that injected a likely dirty needle full of a highly dangerous chemical in to the very small and sensitive veins are an already highly sensitive organ is not a safe practice but you would like to do so, dont forget to nominate yourself for a darwin award first.

Naw man, it aint.
1) You'd damage/destroy your eye
2) You'd send a needle full of junk pretty close into your brain
3) Your eyeball does not have a big enough veins
However for you to be a big enough smackhead to have run out of veins on your body I wouldn't worry too much
