Only "The Dukes Of Hazard" movie has a pg13(Parental Guidence) on it. This is because the movie is based in today's genre, where movies often have partial nudity in pg13, or course language{swearing etc}. This movie is given this rating because it's the law now to warn parents of movies,t.v. shows that have scenes that are not suitable for young children.
T.V. shows like Law/Order(all-3),NCIS, CSI(all-3) also have warnings to parents at beginning of the episode, as well as after each commercial.
This gives parents{RE:T.V SHOWS} the option to use a v-chip in their t.v.,so kids can't watch certain shows.
Back to "The Dukes Of Hazard", there were some scenes that were not good for young children, as it involved the illegal making of moonshine {Home Made Brew}Fast driving{In the General Lee-the most famous car in t.v.history.) Also Jessica Simpson isn't even close to playing Daisy as Catherine Bach was.
Bert Reynolds who plays Boss Hogg now a commissioner of Hz/Cnty is o.k, but he lacks the humor that Sorell Brooks{God Rest His Soul} brought to the series. The only person I enjoyed in this movie was the great country/western singer/actor Willie Nelson as Uncle Jessie.
The PG13 rating was mostly due to J.Simpson almost getting her panties off.(she didn't) & because Burt Reynolds{Boss Hogg} was trying to get the Dukes farm so as to convert it into a coal mine. He therefore conjurs up a car race to hide his plans.
Anyway the MOVIE is small potatoes compared to the origional series. It lacks any plot you can actually sink your teeth in & the stars(excluding W./Nelson) are not suited for this movie.

Why Dukes at all. The movie was bad comparing it to the t.v. show and they should have know that. When Bo and Luke left and they were replace by their coisins the show died. You couldn't replace Tom and John then why did they think they could now?

PG-13 can contain nudity, though it depends on what kind, and in what context. Butts are definitely in!

it did not contain nudity it just had a load of cussing and it was not anything like the show.

they should have rated it G it was so bad it needed G for Gee why did i go see this.
