Appropriate? Maybe. Legal? When the proper laws are followed.

The bottom line is that as long as it is legal, the only thing we can do is express our dissaproval and inform our elected representatives that we don't like it. Either directly or at the ballot box.

No, even if it is for our own good, we can't allow the government more control over peoples lives than they already have.

People have the right to live how they want as long as it does not
harm others in a direct way.

Letting them do this is just letting them get one step closer to controlling our lives.

Besides, doing this means that they are probably targeting people of the Muslim faith and Arabs.... DISCRIMINATION

i think you need to quit listening to liberal media and democrats, bush isn't spying on just anyone, only calls from terrorists, are you getting calls from terrorists, well then you're not being spyed on.it happened all the time under clinton and previous presidents, but liberal media pulls out all the stops when it comes to trying to get people against bush, because they know how stupid and gullible the average american is.

The communications are only intercepted from known terrorists states and outgoing calls to those states included..such as most of the middle east...I believe it is very appropriate, because I don't think any of those nations wish us well!!!
