Because the United States can not forget the past and move on.
They always have to have a reason to remember. Remember this or that so we don't allow it to happen again ....And yet history does repeat its self.

We hadn't been attacked in 50 years and we believed no one would. We were wrong of course, 9/11 taught us that. It'll be the new question your children will come home with: instead of where were you when Kennedy was shot it'll be where were you when the Twin Towers came down

Because some little pootie pop group had the nerve to attack us on American soil. There was time when there would be no Afghanistan after such an attack. Of course, now, we are politically correct. Why we declared war on Iraq, I have no idea. Ask your president, see if you can get an intelligent answer without Dick Cheney's hand in his back.

Its probably the last time that the US pulled together as a nation. George Bush has made so many mistakes the country is very divided right now, if fact they are a joke to the rest of the world

so many innocent people dieing, at the hands of the enemy.....so sad, so terrible. Can you imagine saying good by to dad, or mom, or brother, or sister, or? and having them go off to work, never to see them again? make 9-ll iconic in your life, say "I love you" one more time, Hug, one more time.
