Hollywood has gone stale. They just remake old movies and do old t.v. shows. They do the same genre over and over. Example: Romantic movies, boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl in the end.
Is there any original ideas left for Hollywood to venture into?
If so, what might they be?

Stop watching Hollywood movies. That's the first step you need to take. Find an independent theater in your area. Independent filmmakers have the craziest imaginations EVER. The movie "Brick" with Joseph Gordon Levitt won originality of vision at Sundance this past year. It is amazing. I believe it came out on dvd this week, or it comes out on Tuesday. Also, if you didn't see last year's Kung Fu Hustle you are REALLY missing out. It's original and fun.

Yep! You'll love this indie flick from Cyberstreme Productions. It's called Vampire Biker Babes. It's like Easy Rider meets a Hammer Film. No one has ever done a Vampire-Biker film until now! Cheesy title...good film.

start making more movies out of nolels(the good novels, not the stupid crap people pass off as novels)and remake old horror movies (the ones where the plot made it scarry not the special effects)

i think hollywood is running VERY low on new ideas. i think u'd do better finding original ideas in independent films.

How about... boy meets girl, he uses and dumps girl, girl follows him around because she doesn't understand, boy makes her life hell, she murders him, and does it again with another guy... twisted eh?
