Because guys don't mind being stared at and girls don't get in trouble for staring. I think some girls like to stare as a pass time, they will stare at anything. Other girls are looking for a date because it's easier and not as embarassing as walking up and saying "hey, girls don't usually ask guys out, but would you ask me out?"

It depends in what situation. If a girl just stared at you for no reason, maybe she thinks you are attractive or you look like someone she knows. If she gives you a funny or mean stare, maybe you unintentially offended her by looking at her in a strange way or you were doing something she considered wierd or stupid. HTH : )

to check them out not only guys check out girls it works the other way around.....are you being stred at?? first make sure they are not staring at a burger or something wrong with your clothes.....if nothing is wrong just go by and tell her hi!!!!!!!!!!! all girls love attention from all guys makes them feel special
