ok im just a regular 16 yr old guy. ive always been on the preppy side like wearing Abercrombie and stuff. but i like to be in style. so when i went shoppingg i picked a couple of pairs of levis 511 skinny jeans. i love them and i think they look really cool. but some people started saying that im turning emo just be cause i wear skinny jeans some times....i think that this is rediculous. but what do you guys think? if u wear skinny jeans does that make u "emo" or "punk"? cuz it just seems dumb 2 me.

of course not! well, i dont think so. i have skinny jeans, and no one has told me i look emo. but just ignore them when they say mean stuff like that. soon they're going to be the ones wearing them when they finally find out they're 'in"

Personally, I can't stand it when guys wear smaller pants than me.
But, if you like them, and you look good in em, go for it.
Just don't wear the ones that make it look like you have a tiny little flat bottom. That's where you get into emo...

people have diffrent opinions and stuff but i know a lot of people who where skinny jeans and there not emo or punk its how u feel and how u think u look in them

skinny jeans dont really have a label. they're just cool-lookin, and they can be made to work for people of any style. people that say things like that are just being ridiculous, if u like the look, wear em!

I'm just an old 30-something lady....what does "being emo" mean? Wear what makes you feel good. Confidence does wonder for your appearance!

Well im preppy and i though it was preppy! so i dont know!!! I never new it was punk or emo. I thought that baggy jeans were punk and emo!!!

Most emo or punk people do wear those kind of pants. So if u do you'll be mistaken for that kind of person. Try khaki pants. but anyway just be yourself.
