I really want to lose 45 pounds by my birthday (october 31st) cuz its my 16th birthday and I really want to look good.. I'm over weight yes... Lets just say 45 pounds is 5 pounds less than what I should lose.. well anyway, I'm wondering if theres anything I can do without crazy diet plans, pills and over the top excersise programes. Please help and no silly answers please..

No, there is no safe way (short of amputation) to lose that much weight that fast.

You need to change your life. Eat less. Start an exercise program, even if it's only walking for half and hour a day.

You should not lose more than about 2 pounds a week, which would mean about 15 pounds by your birthday.

A more realistic goal would be to lose 40 pounds by Christmas. That is doable.

You can't safely lose 45 pounds in less than two months. A healthly weight lose program should only help you lose about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week.

Best thing you can do is promise your self to start a healthier way of life on your birthday. Eat fruit instead of empty caloried sweets. Switch from high fructose soft drinks to water or diet soda (you'll get used to the taste). Walk to places you want to go instead of driving. Take up a sport you like in school and practice as much as you can. Most importantly, promise to love yourself for all the great qualities you have instead of focusing on what others think about your looks. People who really care about you don't judge you by your weight.

NO, you can't lose 45 lbs in less than two months!!! You could lose some by dieting and lose some by playing with the water in your body...but.... it won't be good for your health Then, after your birthday....it will all come back. Don't worry about it. Take plenty of pictures on your bitthday and then set up a reasonable steady diet plan. When you want to eat more than you should.....look at your picture on your 16th birthday. Want to lose weight???? Remember, you put it on SLOWLY....and you will have to lose it SLOWLY. It will probably take a year/s. Here is how to lose weight. Cut the amount of food you eat slowly. DO NOT go back for seconds and don't get enough the first time to make up for it. Get used to not getting seconds....then begin to cut back on your first helping. DO NOT drink soft drinks that contain sugar...only artificial sweetners. When you get down to the weight you want, you will still be healthy with no bad habits. Good Luck. Pops

There is nothing safe that you can do to lose that much weight in such a short time. You can healthily lose 2 pounds per week if you modify your diet and by the time your birthday comes around you will feel and look a lot better and this will give you the motivation to continue until you have met your goal.

Hmnnn let's see...45 pounds in roughly 55 days, would be .8 pounds per day. This unfortunately is an impossible goal, even if you fasted the entire time (not recommended !) Re-adjust your goals. Try for a reasonable diet and moderate exercise. By reasonable, I am talking about 1 pound a week or so. Sorry to disappoint, but that's the straight dope.

don't be in hurry 2 lose 45 lbs,play as much tennis as possible 3-6 sets a day.eat 3 balanced meals a day ..like a multi-bar 4 breakfast,some fruit 4 lunch,normal dinner.not mickey d's
or bk etc and lots and lots,i mean lots of water about 10 glasses a day. once u see a little bit start to come off you'll do a much
more intense regimen and you'll drop about 20-25 lbs
which will b enough.

i think you cannot lose weight without using any one of what you said. but the simplest of them is diet plans. in my experience, i dieted for 2 months, i only ate a little and i lose 2 pounds.

I'd say look into "The Rice Diet" its what I did and I've lost 38 pounds so far and I'm continuing on with it. Best Wishes!!

Anything is possible.Drink plenty of water, eat the right foods and eat 3 meals a day. If you skip a meal your body holds onto the fat because it is waiting for the next meal. It is important to eat 3 square meals a day.

if you drink soda or caffaine, stay away from them. That should lose you 5 or 10 pounds a month.
