I've liked this boy since my Freshman year. He is now a Senior. I am a Sophomore and I thought I was over him. I was so happy because the more I seen him, the more I fell for him. So the less I seen him the more I would get over him. So I barely see him this year. Because I thought I loved him it has kept me back from liking anyone else and going out with anyone. So I'm in the process of moving on. Then yesterday I went to gym and he's in my gym class. He sits right next to me. And I just want to tell him that I like him. But my friend thinks it's best if I dont tell him anything. Should I tell him, Im like tempted to tell him cause he sits right next to me. What should I do??? Tell him how I feel or not??

He has Absoulutely no Idea that I like him. SO wouldn't it be knd of weird if someone came up to you and said I LIKE YOU! I ALWAYS HAVE!! YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK I LOVE YOU. He's gonna think i'm crazy. NO one comes up to someone and tells them that. So I dont know whether I should tell him I like him or not.

I think when you are young, the hormones you feel get a bit out of hand. It gets bit easier as you get older and you define better what you are looking for. Unrequited love is common in our teenage years. I think you are looking for signs, looking so hard that you are willing to take something as simple as sitting next to you as an invitation for you to make a fool of yourself anf that is what will happen if you blurt it out. He has not made a move in all this time, he isn't going to. Move on. Look around you at all the other boys there. Take a good look and everytime you begin to compare them to him tell yourself NO. This is called negative reinforcement and it will work if you use it consistently. Consider this training, also try and devote yourself a bit more to study or an extracurricular activity. Join a club. I also realise that in your present state of mind I am completely wasting my time by typing all this out but I do know how you are feeling, I felt the same way about my Tae Kwon Do teacher, I loved him and I also looked for any tiny sign that he might love me back, of course he loved his girlfriend, who he married and had kids with. It is life, it is growing up. If you do end up making a fool of yourself and telling him, then just know that it is not the end of the world, it will soon become yesterdays news and you will be able to go on. I hope I have helped.

Well, I think you shouldn't tell him so you 2 keep your friendship the way it is, cuz if you do you'll ruin it and will regret it for a long time, besides, he's a senior and you a sophomore.

sounds like teenage infatuation. get over it and find someone new. teenage puppy love can be so cute but don't get so serious over one guy, date. have fun you are young don't get all uppity about one guy in high school especially in the tenth grade. you're just a youngin'. I didn't have a serious relationship till the summer before my senior year and it was craziness, I thought I loved him and got so crazy over him but it was puppy love. The next serious relationship I had lasted my senior year we are married now and have two daughters. But I wish I had gone around and had different experiences with boys during high school. I love my husband but during my ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade years I wish I had dated not tried to get into a boyfriend girlfriend status. Good luck, enjoy your high school years and don't grow up too fast. ^.~!

Well, most people you like, you also will love but, they may not always love you. Just go for it, what can happen? The only thing is don't let your love for him take over your life. I really liked a girl (we are just friends now) but I would not do ANYTHING because I thought she would think I didn't like her. Soon I found myself doing nothing and my school life (dances, lunch, ect...) was sooo boring. So that's my advice. Don't let your love for him take over your life.

No
please
just let him make all the moves
because if you get rejected by telling him you like him
He may react differently
and if that happens
