How deadly are cone snails?

I'm just curious how deadly their venom is if I get in contact with them?

extremely venomous enough so that once struck you may not have enough time to react before you die. i would just stay away from the front on the shell or just use something else to pick them up or best yet stay away from them altogether

They are one of the most dangerous, but beautiful (their shells anway) animals in the world. Don't quote me on this, but do belive I heard they can kill a human within three minutes.
