Hey I'm wondering if anybody can help me at the moment I feel like my life is going nowhere and I don't know what to do. I recently came back from 4 months in Australia with my boyfriend of 5 years was supposed to be out there for a year but he broke up with me and I came home. I see all my friends moving on with lives and now I'm still stuck at home with my parents a job I hate and I just feel like ending it all. My real ambition in life is to be movie star which sounds ridiculous I have this big dream that I will move to LA and get spotted and everything in my life will be perfect because all my dreams will have come true I'm 23 and I shouldn't still be thinking like this and living in cuckoo land please can anybody help me?

Can you first look at the positive aspects in your life::

Your healthy
You have a family that (seemingly) loves and supports you
You are alive

Now that we have looked at the positive let's talk about moving on...first of all if you hate your job:
Look for a new one: trust me, I've done it numerous times.
Second, why not take night classes in school for acting? If you love it so much and it is very hard to attain in Hollywood why not still do what you love part time?
Third...go out with NEW friends and have a good time. You are still very young and have plenty of time to get settled in.
It may look like things are dead ended right now, and pretty bleak, but hey think about it this way--you get to experience all new things ahead of you, and on your own (which can be better than in a relationship).
Enjoy what you do have going for you. Nobody can change your situation but yourself...so why aren't you doing it? Just get motivated somehow and go out there and live your life and have fun (and don't worry about what other people are doing, people grow up and do things at different stages of their lives)

You should wake up to reality, go out with more friends, look for more interesting jobs and move on with life! Try to forget the bad experience.
